About Us
Our Story
M’artisan was founded in 2015. Woodwork has always been my passion and I’ve loved working with timber from an early age. After leaving school I joined the family business. My dad had always been a restauranteur and I found myself heading in the same direction. After a few years in the industry, I decided to make a much-needed change. Looking for a more creative outlet, and praying for the right opportunities to come my way, I was commissioned to make a dining room table for a close friend. This was the start of something new and exciting, and the rest is history! I am incredibly grateful that this passion of mine has evolved and become my full-time job.
After our daughter was born, my wife and I decided that we wanted to create something special for children. We soon realised that there was a need for superior quality, handcrafted wooden furniture that is durable and built to last. We then founded Moiks in 2017, after realising that it would be almost impossible to imagine furnishing Elliana’s nursery with mass-produced chipboard baby furniture in it! Our Moiks range offers a variety of high quality handcrafted wooden furniture – including baby cots, compactums, chests of drawers, nappy changers, tables, chairs and more, made from Oak, White Beech, American Walnut or Birch Plywood.

I believe that furniture is truly an investment and that all Moiks kids’ products are heirloom pieces – which should be passed on from one generation to the next. That is why so much time and effort has been put into skillfully handcrafting only the best products in our workshop.
All M’artisan & Moiks kids’ furniture is made to order. Our commitment to quality craftsmanship is demonstrated through the age-old dovetail joinery techniques we utilise to ensure our products are built to last. Plus, every M’artisan & Moiks product features a branded stamp, which is our promise of life-long durability.
